Brief About the Client:
One of our clients, a global energy organization investing significantly in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI, is looking to hire an AI Engineer to build and scale AI/Agentic solutions across business and digital functions. The role will work at the intersection of data engineering, GenAI development, cloud platforms, and enterprise AI deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Transform raw and structured data into reliable, production-ready inputs for Generative AI applications, including data ingestion, preprocessing, vectorization, and database pipelines.
- Design and maintain efficient data pipelines and architectures using structured and unstructured data sources, including relational databases and SQL.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, translating business use cases into technical prototypes and Proofs of Value.
- Integrate GenAI solutions across enterprise applications and technology ecosystems, working with business and technical stakeholders to drive adoption.
- Establish the technical foundations required to scale AI solutions, including integrations with major cloud platforms and AI services.
- Develop evaluation metrics and methodologies to assess model and solution quality, diagnose data inconsistencies, and continuously improve performance based on results and user feedback.
- Ensure AI solutions meet data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong engineering, documentation, and software development practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related technology domains.
- Master's or PhD in Data Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and hands-on experience building, training, fine-tuning, or optimizing Generative AI models and systems.
- Strong experience across cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, with exposure to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Strong understanding of RDBMS, data governance, databases, Big Data, and data pipeline architecture.
- Experience with AI/ML and Deep Learning techniques, along with strong awareness of DevOps and Software Craftsmanship practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of projects and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
