Brief About the Client:

One of our clients, a leading global energy and low-carbon solutions organization, is looking to hire a Tech Lead – Power BI to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale BI and analytics solutions. The role will drive Power BI architecture, data modelling, BI engineering practices, and platform governance while working with global business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, dataflows, and self-service analytics solutions.

• Define Power BI architecture and develop high-performance data models, including dimensional modelling and DAX optimization.

• Drive platform evolution across Power BI Premium/Fabric, gateways, and workspace governance, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Industrialize BI solutions through development-to-production processes, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, ALM Toolkit, and other BI DevOps practices.

• Ensure data governance, security, access management, lineage, and compliance with enterprise architecture standards.

• Lead and mentor Power BI Developers, Data Analysts, and Reporting Engineers while collaborating with Product Owners, business stakeholders, Data Governance, and data engineering teams.

• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and ensure consistent delivery quality, operational stability, and business value.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in BI and analytics, including experience in a technical/team leadership capacity.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Advanced hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Premium/Fabric, data modelling, and DAX optimization.

• Strong experience with Power Query, DirectQuery, Import, Dataflows, and data connectivity/ingestion.

• Strong understanding of Azure data services, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Experience implementing BI DevOps practices, including deployment pipelines, versioning, CI/CD, and ALM Toolkit.

• Proven experience mentoring BI teams with strong stakeholder management, delivery orientation, and ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
